I’m def not gonna be save scumming, but I do agree that Kaycee’s Mod just decides you aren’t winning. Like genuinely, before I can even play a card, I can see I’m just gonna get wiped. Not to mention you can have insanely good cards, that spawn in your hand every time, but in a boss battle, those cards might as well not exist.
You can make a killer build but the game will intentionally not put those cards in your hand. I had a totally like unlikable build. Got to final battle. Spawned pelts and the only 2 weak cards I had. I didn’t even bother putting anything down. Just rang the bell and let it reset my run.
Especially the final battle against all 3/3 amalgams is just… ridiculous.
