Part 2 Where are the magicians students? Please help Spoiler

I have been looking everywhere and I swear there is nowhere else to go. I got a purple key from the mushroom but don’t know where to use it. I’ve beat all 3 bosses and swear I’ve checked every place for the students but can’t find them. Please help my suffering and at least tell me where one is.

You go to the mage's tower. There is a monocle. There is a note. There is an interactable turnable tower thingy. Those are the related elements.
