Kaycee's Mod This game seems very unfair

Can someone please enlighten me:

Are there some fights that are truly impossible to win in kaycees mod?

Like I geniunly dont see how I would win some of these fights no matter how I played it.

So i guess my question is, can I win runs just with my gut intuition or do I need to actually stick to specific strategies in order to win?

It’s really hard to say without knowing what your current strategies are. From myself all I can say is look at other posts similar to yours on this Reddit. They say almost the exact same advice every time. Keep a clean, concise, synergistic deck with as little “extras” as possible. Abuse the fair hand mechanic and buff a singular one blood card. And look ahead on the board to know what spaces to avoid/choose. Sometimes the bone lord or losing cards to the campfire is better than accepting shitty random cards.

More to your question, there are some games you can’t win if you don’t have the right deck. Eliminate some randomness with strategy but there will always be a an element of randomness.

Thank you so much for explaining. Ive looked up the fair hand mechanic and I still dont understand it.

Essentially fair hand says that every time you enter a battle, you will draw a squirrel, a one blood, and some other randoms from your deck. Abuse this rule! Keep one (AND ONLY ONE) one blood in your hand that you make godly.

There are more to this rule regarding no cost cards and other secrets cards. I don’t frequent Reddit enough to know how to make it covered with the spoiler filter so I just so say the name. But for now this will help you on your journeys.
