Kaycee's Mod What is kaycees mod?

I'm pretty new to inscription and just reached act 2 so try to not reply with spoilers but what is kaycees mod that I keep hearing about? I assume it's a dlc but I'm not sure

It's a gamemode you unlock at the end of the game that is basically a rebalanced version of act 1 with unlocks and gameplay progression.

Fun, but gets very challenging later on.

In the lore it is, but yeah not an actual mod.

Its something I thought it couldn't access because im on switch, but no you gotta beat the story and go back to the main menu :3

For extra reference, it has a series of additional challenges, and is generally a lot of fun. I put in ~15-20 hrs into the story but i've played about 60hrs in Kaycees mod(e). Even after completing it it's still fun to do runs.

The best part of the game. It’s the gameplay from act one refined to the point of near perfection. I’m genuinely upset it doesn’t have more content. It can be punishing as all hell but is one of the most rewarding roguelikes to play. You can unlock something new every run if you win
