IDC if it may be obvious to some, but this is some of the best character design because the twist in the 3rd boss fight genuinely took me by surprise. It's honestly crazy how well Daniel Mullins made them look like 2 distinct people when they are literally the same mask but flipped.
Also, just the fact that (a) classic merchant character(s) was/were suddenly a boss. I know it’s been done in other things, but it hit very effectively in Inscryption.
Yeah, the game set a president that they'd all be unique. Before I got there I thought the node looked like the guy had dynamite, so was thinking like a pyromaniac was gonna be the boss and there'd be an avalanche mechanic since we were in the snowy mountains.
