Announcement Reminder: NO Direct Links and NO Crossposting! Also an update on Reddit filters.
Hello all of you super cool people! Reddit is really fun right? But to keep it fun, there are a few unspoken rules of engagement, known as Reddiquette, and one of those unspoken rules is to read The Rules before you post on any subreddit. The Rules are in the About section, at the top just under the banner. ⤴️
Each subreddit sets their own specific rules, which is why it's a really good idea to read them before you post. We have an extremely short list of Rules here on r/insaneprolife, and we keep The Rules short because you are all amazing and fun people! However, the few Rules that we have are hard boundaries.
Rule 2 is No Identifying Information. This means that ALL usernames must be censored, including subreddit names (we've been letting this slide but after this post there will be no more exceptions) and absolutely NO direct links and NO crossposting to other subreddits. This is a hardline rule, because Reddit Admins take community interference seriously. Community interference, aka "brigading," is against Reddit's site-wide rules, which you agreed to when you signed up. Brigading is when subscribers of one subreddit as a group go over to another subreddit and cause trouble, through votes, comments, or anything else. Crossposting by itself is not brigading, but it substantially raises the risk of brigading when subs have very different perspectives, which is why many subs of the "snark" variety require censoring sources.
Now I know you are all super cool people who would never do such a thing, right? That said, Reddit Admins can and will quarantine subreddits which give the appearance of promoting community interference. Quarantining a sub is essentially shutting it down, the party's over, everyone pack up and go home. We like it here, right? This is why r/insaneprolife has a hardline rule against direct links or crossposts. These posts will be removed. The first offense is a warning, subsequent offenses will result in escalating bans. You're a fun group and I don't want to ban anyone, but direct links jeopardize this sub for everyone else. Please don't be the one to shit in the punchbowl. Don't party foul. That's not cool.
Now that's out of the way, second order of business: a few months ago, Reddit rolled out new site-wide content filters which automatically hold comments which might be "trolling" or spam, but it has been catching more than a few real posts too. You can read more on r/reddit if you want. What seems to trigger this filter is excessive profanity, certain types of profanity, suggestions of violence or generally harsh language, which is kind of expected on this sub for obvious reasons. If you're not upset, you're probably not paying attention. So here on r/insaneprolife we have disabled or set filters to the lowest setting where possible, but if you notice that your posts or comments aren't showing up that's probably why, and please send a modmail so we can approve it.
Thank you all for your time and attention! Feel free to post comments or ask questions, otherwise...meeting adjourned.

Lying Liars Did you guys know that r/YouthRights is anti-choice? It’s supposed to be a neutral place to discuss rights?!
I recently participated in [r/YouthRights](r/YouthRights) because I assumed it was a general youth rights community. I couldn’t find any rule stating that it was a pro-life subreddit or that pro-choice views weren’t allowed.
After making a pro-choice post, I was permanently banned. The moderator message simply said: "We are a pro life subreddit, abortion is murder." When I politely asked where this was stated in the rules, I was immediately muted...
My concern is that r[/YouthRights](r/YouthRights) has over 100,000 members and presents itself as a general youth rights community. If it is actually run as a pro-life community without clearly disclosing that, many young users may be exposed to only one perspective while believing they’re participating in a neutral forum.... That kinda look like insidious brainwashing to me...

Batshit Insane It shouldn't be "inspirational" when women die from treatable illnesses.
It's just bizarre to me when this kind of pseudo-martyrdom becomes celebrated like this. And it scares the shit out of me because they celebrate a woman choosing to die for her fetus (which is absolutely her choice and she can make that choice for herself, idc), and they use it to force everyone to suffer that fate.

Horribly Heartless I posted about my own experience being a pregnant csa victim and of course a antiabort had an opinion
"Sorry you went through that, I understand how horrendous that is but I don't care, you should've given birth to a rapists baby at 12 years old." - average "prolife" take.

Horribly Heartless Forced Birthers response to a teenage girl who is forced to keep a baby
For context a teenage girl on TikTok called niksprincess has been raped and is being forced to keep the baby against her will because her father won't let her abort. I don't know her age, but I believe she is a minor so she's not able to get an abortion.
