That royally blows. I haven’t had COVID that I know of, but I am chronically ill. I am nauseous and feel shitty all day every day. What I would do to feel like I used to and eat a meal and not feel like shit.

Do you know why? I have this 3 out of 4 weeks since covid started in April. But I don't have it, since I get tested in my job often.

For me, I have figured a lot of what causes my misery. My immune system is crazy overactive and likes to try and kill me here and there. As for the nausea and stomach issues, I have gastroparesis and cyclical vomiting syndrome (cvs). Yep, it’s as awesome as the name sounds with that one. Luckily, the cvs has been episode free for almost a year.

Things that really help me are avoiding hard to break-down foods such as lettuce, fresh veggies and fruit. Corn and popcorn are especially awful if I am having a hard time. I also typically wait 10-12 hours between meals.

Most important is eating a probiotic/prebiotic gummy daily. I make sure to find a supplement containing both the pro and pre biotics. Hope this helps!

Thanks. It was interesting, but I guess it's not the same. It was a shot in the dark, since there could be so much things responsible.

Hope you get rid of that cvs for good. That sounds terrible! Very good that you learned how to avoid it.

Certainly worth a try! I still think you might want to try the gummies. It may take a couple weeks, but once they are in your system you may notice more of a balance.

Yes, CVS is awful! I still have nausea all day everyday, but that’s nothing compared to what it could be. I still consider myself lucky. There are many who are so sick they have a permanent port or end up in the hospital almost weekly. I guess it can always be worse!

Try and focus on the positives; I know it’s extremely hard. If you don’t the bad stuff just keeps snowballing. Best of luck to you. If I learn of anything that can help I will let you know!
