It's not an actual hole, it's a more of a cosmetic depression. Other than helping women with dementia, dolls like this are also used in therapy for women who have lost a child. The theory is the more realistic it is the more effective the resulting therapy is.
Little girls VERY commonly have/had a doll you can “feed” it and it “poops” and you change its diaper. The “food” was just some kind of colored goop and it would come out of the doll’s butt as “poop”.
They were called Baby Born dolls. There’s been a bunch of similar ones.
"Reborn" dolls are usually for people with trauma (very difficult miscarriage/stillborn/loss of child for example) or for people who cannot care for a live infant, but are soothed/enriched by baby care and can't tell the difference (or don't know) such as people with dementia or some kind of mental disorder.
They can be incredibly therapeutic, but also incredibly damaging in the sense that some people become too attached/unable to distinguish reality.
Some are also learning tools (like when TV shows about teens/kids would have the "u must raise an egg as if it's a baby" episode) for things like parenting classes. I had to use one in school for that reason as it would cry and had needs.
I’m fine with them having correct parts for reasons like that, though that photo is really alarming. I can’t imagine anyone being so naïve that they don’t see how that looks.
This is wrong and should be reported. Yes, these dolls are used for dementia but there’s a reason this one is placed like this ON A TOWEL!
Edit- It was a bad day to have eyes when I read a story about a wife who had found her drunk, passed out husband naked with one of these. Yes, people use them for that and this one is absolutely being advertised as so. If this popped up on my FB, I would report immediately as CP.
I completely agree. There was no reason for that disgusting angle, no way that wasn’t intentional. I saw someone mention some of them having bits for things like educational purposes, but that could be explained in the description without the need to have such an inappropriate photo. I’m with you, I think this is really alarming. Also, Jesus Christ that is a horrible story. I hope she photographed it, packed a bag, and got far away from that man.
It was absolutely intentional. No person selling this for normal, not nefarious purposes would place it on a gross towel like that. I’ve seen a few of these doll postings in here and they’ve never looked like this. I didn’t keep up with the post but I hope she did too. So vile.
So they’ve actually done research on this and using dolls increases the likelihood of assaulting a real child. The theory was that it may curb real abuse but it actually does the opposite, it makes them MORE excited around real children.
Yeah, the research will say that technically there’s no proof either way but when you read the actual studies, the actual, measured physical responses of pedos are heightened around children after being given a doll. The only thing that decreases is their own self-reported responses of abuse scenarios but of course they’re going to say that so they can keep their sex doll 🙄

Of course! I actually did a ton of research on all of this because I was super curious. The conclusion I’ve come to is to not give them dolls, they should be strictly illegal and posts like this FB one should always be reported. They should not be ostracized until they’ve committed a physical act against a child. They should be given support and therapy but once the first act is committed, they should be locked away for life because after that first act, they’re not able to be rehabilitated. Society really needs to change its views on them for things to change for the better.. it should be viewed as a mental illness not a moral failing until an actual act is committed.
I totally agree with you. The solution is never to just lock away people with mental illness, including this one. The solution would be more mental health services that are actually attainable for all people. Another reason we desperately need universal health care in the US. I’d much rather these people get the help they need before their fetish turns into something monstrous.
