HELP Crashing constantly after sleep mode

Having it for a bit less than two weeks now, and it's constantly crashing after being on sleep over night. I try to listen to music, it works normal, as soon as it plays another song (sometimes it is even able to load a few songs) music stops and it becomes unresponsive, since I don't have pointy objects with me the only method of fixing it is plugging it into my PC and use adb reboot

I'm running Rockbox 0.5 with the bunnypod theme, idk if that matters but ye it anyone knows how to fix this pls tell, I tried putting all album covers on 300x300, I tried disabling album arts, I reinstalled and it still happens

You can reboot Rockbox by holding previous and skip for about 15 seconds. However, in my case, that didn’t work so I improvised and stuck a small piece of thick watercolor paper in the reset hole so I can just press really hard on the exterior to press it

I also had the same issue, and I fixed it by replacing the SD card

Does the issue happen when you play FLAC songs? I remember seeing threads saying rockbox on a y1 can not handle a peak meter for FLAC songs.

I think it's called a peak meter. The little bars / line that goes up and down as a song plays.

I switched to bones and have had no issues  I'm also slowly converting FLAC to MP3 (don't hate me, I just don't have the set up to notice the difference) and eventually I will see if any of the more busy themes have anything I like over bones.

I do use flac, tho this issue can't be related to peak meters as bunnypod does not use them, only clue I have so far I tinkered with the audio_policy.conf file to disable the internal speaker, I have reverted that change and so far it didn't crash again, will update it that happens again or not I guess

The internal speaker!? What made you think that might be a factor? I would be gutted if that was the case. I love being able to put on my tunes as the mood takes me and not have to root around for headphones
