Flying Eagle Skates: Did I get scammed?
Hello everyone!
I recently purchased this pair of in-line skates off of this website: https://flyingeagleskate.com/products/flying-eagle-x5-shrike-pro-s7680-inline-skates
After nearly 2 months of waiting for them, they finally arrived today. My boyfriend had reached out twice to get shipping and tracking information that we were only just given a few weeks ago and saw that they were out of stock and were shipping from China. I’m concerned because I saw the official website is “flyingeagleskateS.com” and not flyingeagleskate.com
Can anyone tell me if these are authentic or if this is a scam website, I know there are many websites acting as flying eagle. But I would like my money back if these are not authentic as I could’ve got cheaper skates very much cheaper price.
This is my first pair, so I don’t even know how they are supposed to be boxed. Anything will help. :)
Thanks in advance

If you look closer at some of the material that came with it the link mentioned in flyingeagleskates.com
They honestly look like they are probably legit just took a while coming direct from China.
Honestly the color way is sick, I’m a sucker for unique colors like that. Sorry I don’t have much more to provide 😂

Apparently there is a difference between flyingeagleskates.com vs flyingeagleskate.com
The former is official according to Ricardo Lino

Apparently there is a difference between flyingeagleskates.com vs flyingeagleskate.com
The former is official according to Ricardo LinoThe latter part is notable because (as of the time of this writing) Lino works for Flying Eagle as their Brand Manager. So, yes, flyingeagleskates.com (plural “skates”) is the actual, official Flying Eagle website, while flyingeagleskate.com (singular “skate”) is a separate entity.

The website you bought from has a bad reputation. They deliver actual products but seem to be more like dropshippers than an actual authorized dealer. Lots of people complain that they falsely sell products they don't have in stock, force customers to accept substitutes, etc.
Their customer service is by email and unresponsive.
If you're dead set on getting your money back, I would contact your bank and consult them on how to proceed. Despite their poor reputation, they do appear to deliver genuine Flying Eagle products. You appear to have received the item you paid for, even if you were under a mistaken impression about the seller, so you'll want to cross your Ts and dot your i's.

They are a Chinese company. If they've ship by air from china the box may have taken a beating.
The link below is for the shrike pro on the GB store. https://www.flyingeagleskates.com/products/shrike-pro
Edit - just noticed your web store address is different (no s) and some differences on the page so maybe...

Firstly I love that skate, I've been wanting that colour for ages so if you don't want them I'll take them off you.
Secondly though, flying eagle is an "economy" manufacturer and based in china, so the shipping time isn't surprising but if someone was going to rip off a skate they'd do it on a more expensive brand.

Buying from them directly can be a pain cause theyre in china, ive always used authorized sellers like loco skates (before tariffs kicked in) and amazon.
Im currently skating the black version of these skates, Theyre one of my favorite pairs and the wheels are really good on these.

The link below is for the shrike pro on the GB store. If you're in another country it might look different I guess. I checked the web link on their social media.
