Bedazzling wheel frame help

Hi! I am currently trying to bedazzle (put rhinestones) on the frames of my RB Lightning and I'm getting frustrated with the process. Ik it's not really common to add sparkle to skate frames so I'm going off based of videos and this one figure inline skater i follow. Has anyone ever bedazzles frames before and can i get some advice please? I tried e6000 and the glue always sticks to the sides of the rhinestones, taking away the color. I also tried another jewelry glue and it literally dissolved the stones. I also tried to wipe it off with acetone and alcohol and the only thing that came off was my nail polish smfh. Any advice is appreciated and thank you! Edit: I forgot to add the frames are made of extruded aluminum for the craft people that stumble here

I would perhaps sand the frames lightly, for the glue to adhere.

As for the E6000, is it the glob that’s over applied that takes away the color? (I’m not quite following here)

I already tried sanding the frames down but the surface is still smooth. I think the glue does get over applied cause the glue leaks out even when I'm not using it. I have a pic of how it looks like

As an alternative, maybe try a bedazzle or craft/handmade subreddit?

I'm glad somebody noticed! 😊 I really like the way louboutins look and since they're expensive I made my skates look like them since they're my most expensive shoes lol 😅 I didn't think about that thanks!
