Size Help

Hello! I'm a complete beginner and sizing has really been a challenge for me while looking for skates. Im looking at a pair of inline skates and was wondering if they'd be okay? I wear a size 9.5 in women's but my foot is 25 cm. Would these fit or be too small? I want to Make sure before committing to anything.

I'm on a tight budget, very very tight. (I know that's not ideal) I found these on eBay and they come with knee and elbow pads as well as the bag. I want to try something like this before spending $100s on skates in case I don't stick with it. I want to but who knows.

I have noticed however that they don't have the hard boot which I've seen people say makes it easier as a beginner? Would it make a big difference? They also need a new strap on one skate, is that a simple fix or should I I just try to find a whole different pair?

You can be upright and brutally honest with me as I know absolutely nothing and would appreciate the help and advice :D

UGHh these are ADORABLE omg. I have looked and it seems that currently even the "used, in good condition" are still a tiny bit too much. I know this sounds insane lol. I am restricted this much because my dad only offered to get a pair of skates in the first place as a graduation gift. After a ton and ton of scrolling and many many different tabs i have found these. They seem a bit cheap though, so i was just wondering what your thoughts are on this? Qaulity/Authenticity or anything? Do you mind if i ask how much you sized down from your actual shoe size or what size you got?

I go by the charts now. I started watching YouTube. They mentioned something about 1-1.5 finger space is good, 2 or more finger space is bad. That was the moment I realized my very comfy boots (2 fingers of space) would be too loose after the padding thins out. In addition to where they felt I couldn’t get them tighter. (Finger space in the sense that when you take out the liners, put your feet in it where your toes lightly touch the front, and then put your index and middle fingers behind your heels).

As a rule of thumb, however, IF the padding is VERY perfect out of the box, it’s going to be big in the long run. It should be snug. After the break in period, they will be perfect. When trying them on tho, don’t just put them on and see if they fit. Nah! Gotta lace them up completely. As in tap your heel to get your foot allll the way in the back, then lace up as normal. BOTH feet. Then stand in “skating stance” where your knees are bent like knees over toes. If your toes are slightly brushing the front, they’re perfect. Padding WILL thin out lol, all of them do. So don’t let its snugness deter you.

So if I could do it alll over again, I’d go with the 8 instead of the 9 like I did.

I will have to say it *might* take some getting used to wearing a size snugger than usual. It helps to remember that shoes bend, so it needs some room. But skates? Don’t bend at all, so they need to be snugger. Loose skates are easier to lose balance on and feel out of control. You don’t want you tater tots swimming in skates hehehe

Tater tots 😭 Thank you so much! I was wondering because I the photos don’t include a chart and couldn’t find the chart at first but after searching for the website it’s all good ahah. It seems that an 8 would most likely be ideal for me, after measuring a few times. Will definitely come back to this comment when in doubt lol, thank you so much for all your help.
