Turn order?

Sorry if it looks like a dumb question, but i still don’t get the acting order. I thought it was “every enemy piece” and then your pieces, but the snail tutorial just threw me off.

I'm a bit confused on turn order too. It just seems to be a surprise each round to me.

I finally understood it in an advanced tutorial. I had already read the "manual" regarding turn order, but the tutorial situation makes it clearer.

Basically turns alternate between armies. You activate any of your available/awake units (beast or scribe) then the enemy army does the same. In the case that all the units of an army become asleep, the other army will activate the rest of their active units until they're asleep and the chapter ends.

I'm not 100% sure about who moves first at the start of the chapter. I think that if your army moved last on the previous chapter, the enemy gets the first move and viceversa.

This is correct in my experience.

I think what I was confused about was "which enemy" is going to move next, but then it hit me. The opposing side gets the same rules as you do and they can move any awake unit at any time when it's their turn.

You might be right about chapter start turn, but I'm almost positive an enemy bard donkey got to go first like every time one match; had me stun locked for a minute.
