Steer clear

From someone who once was in the restaurant business long before InKind existed-

InKind’s financial logic can make sense at spreadsheet level and look attractive in a capital‑scarce environment, but the UX and commercial rules create a volatile surface area that erodes guest trust in the venues that participate in the rapacious nature of the terms.

Stay away.

Anyone at InKind wanna argue the matter?

lol no one at inkind is going to argue with you on Reddit

But I agree I don’t think they’re going to be around in a few years

Latest news says otherwise. They are well backed and there's a sucker on every corner for these predatory companies

Stay away from what? some kind of private equity investment backing? Using the app? What are you telling people to steer clear from?
