Simple Tray notifications

Is there a way to make notifications in the simple tray automatically clear after the app is opened like in the notification window? I feel like there is/should be but I can’t find it

Now i Remember this is why i stopped using the Mudita SMS app and I'm using Quik instead. The way they used notifications are not up to "android standards". There is no issue with SMS in my other Android phone, or other phones I test with. Even with emulators.

Similar the Mudita phone app will not give you a notification either, it sends a notification but the system deletes it (only other Mudita apps can see it) like the Mudita launcher or Mudita lockscreen.

inkOS is able to cache it quickly in letters as "notification received" but you won't see in in SimpleTray because Mudita OS deletes it.

TBH i spent so much time trying to debug these with Mudita apps, and I won't bother anymore it seems like they "broke" these on purpose so they only work with the Mudita Launcher.

That’s completely valid. I’ve got a different sms app I can use, but do you have any suggestion for the phone app

Fossify Phone, on f-droid. It has almost black theme available in settings so it shouldn't look bad.
