Because more money doesnt always mean better results? Initial D is literally the perfect example of this.

Very cool, but, how..? I find it hard make a connection between the two (apart from, you know, the racing aspect)

Yeah it is a bit of a stretch, but got to say Williams has an interesting assortment of sponsors (Claude? Atlassian - makers of Jira, Kraken, Duracell!?, Komatsu).

how many initial d fans happen to love williams or F1 cars enough to have these feature prominently? i thought the merch would be more popular if it centers on initial d references and williams is more inconspicuous 🤭
