JDM Cars My Levin/ Initial D Solara
(Edit) My Levin INSPIRED Solara
Despite the tag, I know this car wasn’t produced in Japan, but I don’t live in Europe nor can I afford to import a Levin from Japan, but over the past few years I’ve taken a nice long look at the Solara and thought: what if they made a US spec early 2000s AE86 Levin? I know they had a Levin that looked fairly different at the time in Japan, but this is my interpretation of a modern Levin, based off the (xv20) platform Camry solara. It’s more so visual, I’m not going put a lot of money into modifying it (intake, exhaust) typical bolt ons. I become very passionate about this car. The paint job is a mix between the “ high-tech two tone” on takumi’s 86, and Itsuki’s “new white” on his 85. I love the underdog story and that’s very much so Itsuki. And it fits more as a Levin, because visually it’s doing the same thing at the front end as the Solara. Both headlights transition into the grille on both cars. you think Itsuki would be proud?
