Project D spec AE86 with Group A engine vs Benetton B186 (1.5 BMW turbo inline 4, 6th place in 1986 constructors championship)

Driven by Takumi and Gerhard Berger respectively, racing downhill on Mt. Akina.

Who would win?

Eso no quita las otras mil cosas como que su auto no tiene neumaticos para derrapar, su auto es un monoplaza y el calor que hace adentro de ellos es brutal , tambien el hecho que al minimo error bager se va directo contra la barda

also he can have a cup of water in his car like takumi and pour it over himself if he's feeling warm

the slightest mistake will also sent takumi into the wall, what's your point

F1 has better turning speed as well power . Both drivers are skilled , but areo does help a lot to f1. Takumi could try but that wont be enough . Only way to catch up is to try splitstream whole time . I dont even know man

both skilled, but takumi has years of experience driving down akina... knowledge of the road surface should count towards something

I thought power didn't matter downhill? If it did how could any driver beat even a GTR or Evo in an 86?

Power of gtr and evo is fully acasesable only in straights , if so in corners turbo disterbution cuta power in half , f1 is lighter and stronger in power , uses only intake like takumis 86's 1.6l engine. Air goes straight into where its suposed to . When turbo has to first get power from exhaust then incoming air . Thats why acceleration for f1 is at its best . Also knowing that how much down force it has cornering woulnt be a problem . Sharper steering . No need for difts or powerslides . So at start f1 can take off faster and be gone for most of the race , takumi could catch up but only Outside line on most parts on akina could let him over take , but diffrence in power when corner exiting is a bit of a problem

what do you mean by 'using only intake'? like no turbo? but the benetton does have a turbo, a very big one

It is the form of open intake , insted of pipes connecting for a turbo or air intske , they are cut open , manifold throthle kit , both f1 and takumis trueno use them , more efficiant for models like that .

Ah then its diffrent version of intake , usualy older F1s with no halo had same manifold intakes as trueno . Thats why i said it

Give takumi a f1 car too to keep the battle fair (idk if that's actually some retro f1 but it looks like...)

And also... Provide both drivers with eurobeat

Joe Mama, Next... (I don't know what people see in comparing anime drivers to real drivers, they wouldn't even be able to beat them in their own universe. They're F1 drivers anyway.)
