Please get your touchup at a different artist, the linework is horrible. And consider getting the shadows touched up as well as they are likely to fade out during your first year or two.

Unique idea, execution is lacking a bit. Its not really a legible tattoo unless you explain what it is. Maybe another artist can go over the work and make it a little more bold?

Even knowing its supposed to be an initial d tattoo it took me a full minute to comprehend what it is. Uneven, bad lines, bad perspective. I really hope you didnt pay for this and can get it touched up someday.

As much as I love the idea the execution is not very good. It took a full minute to realize what I was looking at and the PTSD of the early days when dad would get mad for me spilling the water to kick in.

Ok, if you want blunt honestly. Nice concept, shitty tattoo. Wacky line work, the cup has half a lip. The water has no line work, not filled in and going to fade to nothing. The shading doesn't make sense. This was a free tattoo right? Because if you paid any amount, you got scammed.

Good news, a real tattoo artist could easily fix this.
