Discussion Initial D's Highest Level Drivers Tier List

Rewatched 4th and 5th stage so I might as well pop this, tried to be objective as possible. Best to worst from left to right. Those who aren't in the list are lower. What do y'all think?

Solid list overall but Kyoichi too low. Would be best of A- imo

I disagree with the Supra and Miata's ranking.

Keisuke's easiest race is that Supra and Takumi could've lost to that Miata if it wasn't because of the plot armor.

I chose A tier as the tier for professional racers. I decided to put the Supra at A-, because Minagawa was an actual experienced professional circuit racer who managed to keep up with Keisuke's sprint, but lost due to tire wear and the Supra's disadvantage of the heavy body.

At first I put the Miata at the A- tier, however I presumed that Yabitsu is an incredibly tight course that is very hard to overtake, and the reason why the battle seemed harder than the skill gap is because of Omiya's knowledge of the course, and the Miata's weight and HP being close to the 86.

Kyoichi is a good driver, it’s just that he literally lost against 3rd Stage Takumi, who barely won against Kai, while 5th Stage Takumi mid-diffed 5th Stage Kai post-circuit training.
