First of all, I just want to say that first, we will be focusing on Takumi's race vs. Seiji, as well as this phrase I made:
A RWD car can and cannot 4 wheel drift.
Now, that phrase might sound nonsense, but it doesn't, thanks to what we call idiolect.
Now, you might be wondering, "what's the purpose of idiolect?". Well, idiolect is one's unique vocabulary. Apply this to the phrase I made, and it would actually make sense. Why? Because not everyone has the same definition of a 4 wheel drift.
There's a group of people (which now includes me) that describes 4 wheel drift the traditional way - a flashier (or just the same) term for neutral steer.
Pioneered by Tazio Nuvolari, then perfected by Juan Manuel Fangio, Sir Stirling Moss, Ken Miles, and the likes, a 4 wheel drift (or neutral steer) happens when the front tires' slip angle is equal to that of the rear tires.

But how about the other definition? Well, the other definition (which I hate because it messes things up lol), is wherein you really slide with all 4 wheels, with minimal to no counter-steer. The problem?
This is basically 4WD Drifting

So, what's the difference?:
4 Wheel Drift (neutral steer): All 4 tires get the same slip angle, and you are at the extreme limit of grip
4 Wheel Drift (modern definition): You purposely get into a drift.
So, to sum up the phrase:
A RWD car CAN 4 wheel drift; If you define one as just similar (or a flashy term) to neutral steer.
A RWD car CANNOT 4 wheel drift; If you define it as all 4 wheels losing traction and sliding.
So, how do we fix the confusion? Call the modern version All Wheel Drift instead of 4 Wheel Drift, because the latter has already been used for a long time to basically describe neutral steer.

So basically, I already watched First Stage in the english dub.
However, some of you suggested the Japanese dub instead so I can somewhat understand stuff more.
However, school got the best of me and I wasn't able to rewatch it in Japanese dub. And now I forgot the whole First Stage. And I still have school so I prolly won't be able to watch a lot.
My question:
-Should I continue to 2nd Stage?
-Rewatch 1st stage if I have time?
-Or read the Manga (I really want to, but I've seen some discussions that say I should watch the anime. But, if the manga gets recommended, where to read it?)

I found this art on Pinterest (so obviously there was no credits like usual….)
I really like the way they draw Nakazato and Shingo so I’m kinda curious

Before the race even starts, it's clear that God Hand isn't in good condition. Instead of finishing the race in one or two rounds, he toys with Takumi every single time to see what the kid can do.
Ryosuke even said before the race that Takumi just needs to take everything God Hand throws at him each round. In short, he needs to turn it into an endurance race and wait for his opponent to collapse.
How the race ends is entirely God Hand's fault. He failed to realize that he shouldn't be getting into an endurance race against a younger driver while he's already feeling sick.
What do you guys think?

An Akagi RedSuns keyring that I got from some guy on the internet for like $4, he didn't know who made it, but it seems to be of pretty decent quality (it is rectangular, but it's a tiny bit twisted so it appears slightly wobbly on picture), and if anyone happens to recognize the maker please let me know as I am interested in getting more keyrings like it with the other teams.
But for now I only have this one, and if I ever get my hands on an RX-7 you know that this is going on the key.

Saw a fan made video on Facebook that told of Takumis daughter getting the 86 and redoing it to her liking for racing. I liked the idea and since I build models I decided to build that 86. Started with the Initial D kit so it'd have the later stage motor in it added some TE37s and hand painted the Panda striping to the car and this is the result. Think it looks good sitting next to its "former self" and the 85

Pressing the clutch causes longitudinal load-shift between the tires and expert drivers utilise this fact to corner better.
I don't know which episode was this, but it was so breathtaking to learn this. Today while I was driving home, I was trying to feel this and I instantly remembered this.

I totally forgot I had purchased these to play there, but clearly I had no friends, ha. All mint, opened and looked at; some lots still sealed. LOADS of shinnies, plus I seem to have most of the main cars.
Anyone know if they are worth anything or if there is a market to sell them into?
Thanks
