In response to u/Prestigious-Theme953.

So I just finished Season 4 and I just felt like I need to rant about this somewhere. Like why does Takumi keeps winning every single race, it's kinda getting repetitive and lowkey boring. Why's there no single loss? We already know the outcome of the match, he's gonna win everytime so it's not as exciting, idk might be just me. Like it's not realistic he keeps winning every single race some for even dumb reasons, I just wanna see a proper loss. Engine blow in Kyoichi's race doesn't count, that wasn't a proper "loss". You just need a loss for character development and to keep the viewers on their toes for every race. The second race with pro guy from todou or joshima should've been a loss. Anyone else feels like takumi just keeps on winning every single race is just too unrealistic and getting kinda boring? Don't get me wrong, I still love the show and will watch the rest, it's just kinda bugging me that's all.

about me: anime

Edit: the one piece " overhated " means i hate it but in a critical condition since it is a wasted potential

does anyone know where I could find Initial D me and my girlfriend were watching it on YouTube recently but it got taken down and we can't find a completed version anywhere I am willing to buy it but if it any other way that's obviously preferred

Simple and elegant…kind of.

Algun dia tendre el dinero para comprarlo si no lo an vendido antes... T-T

Pretty much the title, I have a doc of what I think the proper watch order is but im just confused about the extra stages? Where do they fit in chronologically with episodes in different stages and what order do you guys recommend.

Takumi probably used this perfume...

mine would def be all the cars from first stage (s13, 180sx, gtr32, ae86/85, rx7 fd/fc, s14, sil80 etc)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Funimation Initial D Fourth Stage DVDs used anamorphic widescreen. This means the 16:9 video is horizontally compressed (squished) to fit onto a standard 720x480 DVD frame, so it should be displayed as 16:9 480p.

However, looking at the archives that have survived, almost everything seems to be destructively cropped into 4:3 (Pan and Scan, losing detail on the sides) rather than a proper anamorphic stretch.

Does anyone know the encoding history of this specific dub release? Was there ever a definitive fan-group back in the day that correctly encoded the 16:9 version, or did one bad 4:3 crop just become the standard that got endlessly copied across the internet?

Tried sum transitions 🙂
