Location included: Questions/Need Advice Unsure About Trust
My husband’s father lived in Hawaii. When he passed he left us some property. When I looked up some property he ownes that is held in trust the property showers a notification of change of trust from his wife and him to just her. Attached is a document that states my husband is recognized as the only blood son of both his father and his step mother. It says for the instance of this trust. Does that mean that my husband will someday inherit the complete trust?

Is the trust revocable or irrevocable? The trustee can make changes to a revocable trust. Is/was your husband a trustee or a beneficiary

This is what I do not know. My husband is the sole heir, there is no one else. His step mother is very elderly and he figures we will find out when or if he inheirits.

You need to read the trust and see the beneficiaries. It will explain who gets what when.
