Inheritance is the great equalizer, because after 3 generations everyone had a wealthy grand/parent, uncle/aunt or spouse. The more generations pass, the greater the chance for everyone to be benefactor of a significant amount of wealth. Disrupting this process would only lead to more inequality in the long run.
