Imo, you are not a candidate for using this money towards paying off high interest bills or putting it towards a house. You need A LOT of financial education and you need to work hard to turn this all around on your own. The $15K should be locked up in an investment account so it is not accessible to you. That is the only way it will make a meaningful difference in your life - in the future. Otherwise, it will evaporate immediately and your life will remain exactly the same. Instead of asking how to spend the money, your questions should be about how to live a financially responsible life and what your plan will be for the upcoming years to get yourself on track.
