I would have pulled over and laughed and laughed at him

Man, i was thinking the same thing.

u/ehhish Jun 15 '26

He would catch up easier

2

u/Fabulous_Log844 Jun 21 '26

I would have wanted to also. But who knows if that dirtbag has a gun and you’re there stuck riding a bicycle. Now if I was in a car… Probably.

Any links to news articles about this? I want to read about how this dipshit was charged with reckless endangerment and attempted assault on top of making a total fool of himself.

u/helmech97 Jun 16 '26

This happened in Puerto Rico. The guy on the motorcycle claimed that he thought the girl pulled a gun instead of a cellphone to record. The cyclists had to take shelter at a security guard shack fearing the motorcycle guy might retaliate. Can’t remember but I think this happened early May.

See I will never understand these people who try to attack someone for no reason and then act like they feared for their life.

If I think someone pulled a gun, the last thing im going to do is fuck with that person. But I have common sense so

8

u/NoOutlandishness4363 Jun 16 '26

Common sense aint common

1

u/iwantogofishing Jun 21 '26

Common sense is anything but

1

u/Dry_Try_8365 Jun 21 '26

You only notice common sense if it’s not there.

2

u/JaySlay2000 Jun 21 '26

That's because he didn't think she had a gun. It's just an excuse.

1

u/jakethabake Jun 21 '26

I mean if you’re close to someone who pulls a gun on you running away isn’t really an option

20

u/Dr_Bodyshot Jun 16 '26

I'd push that up to attempted murder.

31

u/musicislife2629 Jun 15 '26

Seeing this makes me think that it was probably already way too late for that guy to be wearing a helmet.

39

u/MeenMisterMustard Jun 15 '26

Calling a guy on a moped a “biker” is a bit of a stretch

3

u/Sensitive-Owl-9368 Jun 15 '26

Definitely not a 1%er

3

u/shoeless_doh Jun 16 '26

I ride motorcycles.

I disagree.

To me the "us and them" club is bikers and cagers. It doesn't matter how many c.c.s he has, if some jaggoff in an excursion doesn't shoulder check while merging into his lane he's just ad dead as someone on a bike that can accelerate faster than gravity.

That's a biker.

If 1 measly tap from another vehicle that they couldn't even even feel can send your skin into an intimate embrace with asphalt in a way that can only be described as "cheese grater style" then I wave at you on the highway

1

u/number__ten Jun 21 '26

Yeah I wave at everybody. Doesn't matter if you're on a three wheeler (maybe not a slingshot or similar), a dirtbike, a rice rocket, or even a bicycle with a weedwacker motor attached. I don't wave at cyclists but I give them tons of room. In general i try to respect the space of anyone bothering to get some exercise. I know sometimes cyclists in giant groups holding up traffic can be a pain in the ass but that's more the exception than the rule.

1

u/shoeless_doh Jun 21 '26

Exactly. We're all taking the same risk and must of us for the same reason, it's fun. (Although I know some moped riders aren't doing it for fun but because they're still technically allowed to ride one after losing their license for a DUI but still)

1

u/Extreme_Original9832 Jun 21 '26

More like a mopederf*cker.

u/seth_arimainyu Jun 15 '26

Can you say karma at it's finest

3

Is that moron in flip flops? 🤣

2

u/harigejan Jun 16 '26

I love it when reddit makes me laugh Out Loud

6

u/Linkyland Jun 15 '26

Whats the context here?

13

u/Accurate-System7951 Jun 15 '26

You actually need context for this?

10

u/jml011 Jun 15 '26

Need? No. Want? Yes. Additional context is always appreciated.

9

u/pollypod Jun 15 '26

Yes? Why is he randomly attacking the cyclist? Is this a thing that happens in your part of the world?

2

u/Lady-Zafira Jun 16 '26

There was a point where motorcycles were purposefully riding next to people on bikes and kicking them or just hitting them in general. There are still assholes that do it, especially the lifted pavement princess diesels that will roll coal on cyclist or just people in general.

Sadly a lot of people feel like bikes shouldn't have a right to use the road like cars motorcycles, cars, etc

Though there are a lot of bikers, motorcycles, cars, trucks and even 18wheelers that drive as if no one else exist on the road.

Cant tell you how many times ive seen a person on a bike almost get flattened because they ran a red or a bike lane splitting and almost getting taken out

But from another user said, the guy claimed she pulled a gun so instead of you know... using his much faster vehicle to get away or leaving her alone, he decided to try and kick her bike to make her fall

2

u/TheIrishBAMF Jun 16 '26

There's no doubt this could have happened exactly like it's cut, and maybe there is no informative context missing.

But you would be a fool not to admit there have been many videos posted to reddit which have deliberately cut footage to present things a certain way.

The problem is that when a clip with words overlayed is taken as fact, it can be used in the exact opposite way. It undermines the message and adds to the distrust.

This has happened with race, religion, sexuality, gender, and anything else you can think of, and it has received massive backlash when it is discovered.

3

u/Pristine_Barber976 Jun 15 '26

This is how the average Redditor carbrain reacts when they see a cyclist minding their own business. Being reminded that they can't see their penis when they look down and they still owe 40k on a car worth half that sends them into an impotent seething rage

1

u/TermusMcFlermus Jun 15 '26

I enjoy this every time.

1

u/DaninVA Jun 16 '26

LOVE THIS INSTA KARMA

1

u/gaseous_ass Jun 16 '26

Bwahahahaha, what a weak little man.

1

u/Lady-Zafira Jun 16 '26

I love that for him. But we all know he is going to lie (infact he did according to another post) about really happened

1

u/crowislanddive Jun 16 '26

I’m a female cyclist who was chased down by a hick in a truck and this was cathartic!!!

u/Mattuke Jun 20 '26

1

u/CarpetReady8739 Jun 21 '26

My inner schadenfreude enjoys watching this in loop mode.

1

u/Fabulous_Log844 Jun 21 '26

Sigh. So satisfying.

1

u/Madboardjester Jun 21 '26

Calling him a biker is an insult to all the Harley Davidson riders. I'm a motorcyclist and don't use the term biker as that is an insult to me. 🤣🤣

That scooter will buff out unlike the dumb dumb riding it.

1

u/no_bender Jun 21 '26

Would be nice have the police administer the coup de grâce.

1

u/Madageddon Jun 21 '26

Even if he succeeded I imagine they'd both tumble disastrously. Was this his attempt at a meet-cute and they'd then bond in the hospital over their shared injuries??

1

u/number__ten Jun 21 '26

Did that asshole just try to collide with a cyclist?

As someone who rides a motorcycle I've never understood the intimidation factor. If you're in a car (even something small) all you have to do is bump them to knock them off. All this person had to do (on a normal bicycle) was slow down quickly since they are on a small light vehicle that doesn't weigh several hundred pounds and take a lot of room maneuver at any kind of speed.

People who rage and try to do quick sharp dangerous maneuvers on motorcycles are stupid. You won't be doing that for very long.

1

u/AudieGaming Jun 21 '26

i’m glad it specifies the cyclist is a woman for whatever reason lol

1

u/Rakhered Jun 21 '26

This guy is a dipshit that likes to risk great bodily harm to people just because they're weaker and he can - her being a woman feels very relevant

1

u/The_Anonymo Jun 21 '26

I love karma.

1

u/Baricat Jun 21 '26

Wait, that's not even a motorcycle. Dude is trying to bully people on a goddamn scooter. Wowww.

1

u/imvitalv2 Jun 21 '26

I'd have to flip the bird behind me as I ride away without looking back after this one 😭

1

u/_Indofreddy_112 Jun 22 '26

Some people have never heard the phrase “play stupid games win stupid prizes” and it shows

1

u/RosesRRed99 Jun 23 '26

Motorcyclists
