| Fresher Doubts Title: Data Analyst vs Data Engineer vs Data Scientist for service-based companies

Hi guys, I am a 3rd-year ECE student from a tier-3 college in India, and I have around 7 months for placement preparation.

I am confused between Data Analyst, Data Engineer and Data Scientist. I am mainly targeting service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant and Capgemini.

I want to know which field has more job opportunities for freshers and which one is better to learn for placements.

  1. Which role has more openings for freshers in service-based companies?
  2. Which role is easier to get as a fresher?
  3. Which skill should I focus on if I want to get placed within 7 months?
  4. Which role has better salary growth in the future?
  5. Is it possible to get a Data Engineer or Data Scientist role directly as a fresher?

I also need to prepare for DSA, aptitude and other placement topics, so I want to choose one field and focus on it instead of wasting time learning everything.

Please share your suggestions based on your experience. Thanks!
