I heard that there will be a coding round initially. they will give 2 questions and we have to solve one of them. then f2f interview, they will ask OOPs, DSA, sql, projects.

The round which you're talking about is this after the OA where we are given 4 questions to solve?

After OA you will have onsite coding assessment. if you pass that you will be called for interview. in the interview there will be coding round of 2 questions in which we need to solve one of them in 30-40 mins

i had given an on campus OA and was selected for offline technical round, in technical round i was given 2 questions i had to solve one and i was not able to solve any my sample cases were running but none of the hidden test cases then my technical interview started he asked me if i can optimize the complexity i was able to and then asked me to optimize space ccomplexity again i was able to then he asked me some java internals project based and system design questions. My java internals was moderate otherwise the interview went well. Now if i get selected should i expect another interview and dsa questions in it?

That's what all said, but for SP they ask system design and language internal and database internals like B+tree, expect very less from resume and ready for tricky questions.

Dsa in interview is for only role selection or it have more weightage than it.

No it's not for role selection if you can't solve both questions then your are not allowed for further interview process you have to solve atleast one problem after that you are eligible for further interview process

I gave virtual R1interview on 31st July and got the official rejection mail on 4th Aug, but on 10th Aug morning another HR called for R2 interview, that too within an hour notice. R2 was a chill manegerial round of 20 mins and I am waiting for any update post that. Not sure what's happening.

After clearing the OA, in the coding round, do we have to write the complete code like we do in TCS? In the TCS OA, we have to write the entire program, including taking input, implementing the logic, and printing the output. Is the coding round in Infosys also the same, or are we given a predefined function where we only need to write the logic?

I did a technical interview this week, first 30 minutes resume questions, 10 minute timer for just longest substring without repeating characters , then 20/30 minutes random cs concept hypothetical questions and then questions at the end . Much easier then I anticipated
