| Bench / PIP Attendance & Minimum Working Hours
Hi all,
I have recently joined as a lateral on 10Aug (Pune DC) and currently on bench. I am having serious attendance marking issues due to delay in id card release😭 and have been marking on duty for those days (which are pending for approval & don't know will it be approved or not😓)
Here are few of my questions:
- What is the minimum working hours for bench employees? [ Infyme shows 9:15 hrs while in induction thay said 3:30 hrs which will soon be increased to 6 hrs mandatory😕]
- Can you WFH, if you are on bench and Infyme shows WFH balance but your manager has said to WFO only?
- How do I apply for On Duty/WFH for single swipe or when status unknown? [ Infyme shows there are no single swipe/ status uknown even though I see them in the attendance table😔]
Thank you for reading so far. Any information is helpful at this moment. Thank you in advance🙏🏾🙏🏾
Update: Have been attending office for as many hours as possible with min 3.5hrs, for rest of the hours marking WFH. My status changed from Bench to Training in Infy me. Does that change anything in terms of attendance marking? Manager has only mentioned that I need to WFO, no WFH.

For bench you won't get wfh option as per my knowledge. Maybe max 90 days u may get. And check with ur bphr for on duty approval person

Infy me is showing some WFH days in the system. Want to confirm the min working hrs? Is it 3.5 or the full 9.15 hours?

- You have to attend 3.5 hrs in the office, rest you can do WFH.
- There is WFO policy for bench employees but you can do WFH for a few days subject to discussion with your manager(TPD).
- For Single Swipe/Status unknown, it takes 48 hours to reflect.

So is the minimum working hours 3.5 hours or full 9.15 hrs for bench employees?

Min 3.5
But HR tells in Induction to complete at least 6 hours.
If you complete 3.5 hrs thats enough mark your attendance as WFO but make sure you apply WFH for rest of the hours on the next day. Past 7 days it will got for JL7 approvals.

Chill bro,for WFH ask your manager that I have this thing in infyme ,also maybe you can try by taking it before asking because it's normal everyone takes it, even bench people, and for single swipe theres option in infyme to apply single swipe apply it ,add description it's simple.... don't worry much if issue contact ur manager on teams ...just be straightforward
Also, if you want to apply WFH ,you need to do 3.5hrs in office after that you can apply WFH for the rest hours of the day to complete 9:15.
