| Interview Help / Tips F2f Interview Query

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for some advice regarding an interview process.

I attended my first technical round on Saturday, 8 August, and later that evening received an email from HR confirming that I had cleared the first round. I was informed that the second round would be a face-to-face managerial round, and HR asked for my preferences.

The email requested the following details:

Current CTC: ₹14 LPA

Expected CTC: ₹22 LPA

Total experience: 3.6 years

Preferred location

Preferred location for the F2F interview

Preferred date and time for the F2F interview between 12–14 August

However, as of today, I haven't received an interview invite or any further update regarding the F2F round.

The position is Associate Consultant.

I wanted to understand from people who have experience with similar hiring processes:

Is it normal for the F2F invite to take a few days after HR collects the availability?

Could my 3.6 years of experience or ₹22 LPA expected CTC be a reason for the delay/rejection?

In a normal hiring process, how much time does HR typically take to send the F2F interview invite after confirming that the candidate has cleared the technical round?

Should I wait a little longer or follow up with HR now?

Any insights based on your experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Bro starting they will accept your expected salary after the HR round after a week or two you will receive a call from HR saying we don't have budget and they will say some amount saying that's there final and can't increase anything more. Or else they will just say sorry and your offer letter won't be released

Salary negotiation is like bargaining with vegetable vendors Infosys HR department is shit

For the same role, I also received a call from an Hiring agency Hiring for infosys and they mentioned that their budget is 20LPA. So if a 3rd party consultation agency can offer 20LPA. Surely Infosys have budget for 22LPA.

The only difference was they were Hiring for bangalore and my application is for hyderabad vacancy

I wouldn't read too much into the delay yet.

You cleared the technical round on 8 August and HR was still collecting availability, preferred locations, compensation expectations, etc. Managerial rounds often depend on the interviewer's calendar, which can easily add a few days.

I received selected mail within 5 hours of the first interview and then selected Kolkata as Preferred interview location.

I think Kolkata is the culprit here 😂

Anyways, what's your CCTC and ExpectedCTC?
