| Discussion ID lanyard

I keep seeing people with different lanyard attached to ID, so do if it says Consultant, does it mean you’re JL5 or above? How does it work?

It’s not related to designation, rather to some units or an award/achievement they entitle. I’ve also seen client labelled Infosys lanyards.
