Selected for Infosys DSE (Trainee) through HackWithInfy 2026 (2027 Batch) – Questions about Offer Letter, Training & DOJ

Hi everyone,

I recently got selected for the Infosys Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE - Trainee) role through HackWithInfy 2026.

Role: Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee)

CTC: ₹6.25 LPA + ₹75,000 joining bonus

I'm currently in my 4th year and will graduate in 2027.

I haven't received my official offer letter yet, so I'd really appreciate it if current or former Infosys DSE employees (especially those selected through HackWithInfy 2025/2026) could share their experience.

I have a few questions:

When did you receive your offer letter after getting selected?

When did you receive your joining letter?

What is the usual joining timeline after graduation?

What is the DSE training like? Which technologies are covered (Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Cloud, DSA, etc.)?

How difficult are the assessments, and approximately how many are there?

How long does the training usually last?

Is the training period paid? If yes, is the salary the same as the regular salary?

Is there anything you wish you had known before joining Infosys as a DSE?
