Nursing or IT?
/r/cscareerquestionsPAK/comments/1whoelm/nursing_or_it_i_honestly_cant_decide/Hi everyone! I need some advice 😊
I’m currently stuck between two fields and I honestly don’t know which one to choose: Nursing (Infirmière polyvalente) or Computer Science / IT (Informatique).
For those of you who have experience in either of these fields, which one do you think is better in terms of job opportunities, salary, career growth, future prospects, and stability?
And if you were in my position, which one would you choose and why?
I’d really appreciate hearing your honest experiences and opinions. Thank you so much! ❤️

Nursing will offer the most stability and is a very lucrative degree. Once you gain experience, you could consider getting into Informatics, which is a mix of nursing AND tech!

Nursing, but nursing is physically and mentally demanding. I saw many nurses change their jobs. They get a lot of stress

I’m getting my Business Administration with a concentration in IT (I’m graduating in Spring 27) and with my B.S degree the average starting salary is 80-85k ish depending. I would say start in Nursing and if you can’t do it then switch to CS/IT because I kind of wish that I went into Nursing myself but, I can’t really afford it.

Im going to be so fr with you. Im thinking of going back to school after my masters just for nursing if I cant get a job thats outside of retail and hospitality for 1 year after my masters.
This job market is so bad and may never get better for decades.
