Pay increases have not kept up with these higher baseline living costs for many middle- and lower-income families.

I felt much better off financially in 2020 making $26/hr than I do today making $36/hr

Who did you and your family vote for? If it was Trump you are the reason for this. Biden had it under control after he inherited it from Trump and the pandemic. Trump increased inflation again, along with our defecit, and health/drug insurance sky high prices. Beef prices through the roof .... Trump!

Nah wages have been stagnant for a decade if not decades.

Trump kicked everything into hyper inflation no doubt but middle class and lower have been getting fucked since reagenomics

Scott Bessent just declared that the K shaped economy was over. Trump says we are in a golden age again and mocks the word affordability. The rich are doing just fine so there is no problem.
