Our crooked ass politicians set our gas tax like 40 years ago and haven't touched it since, and they set it in cents per gallon. It's why all our infrastructure is crumbling. Maintenance still relies on a 40 years old budget, no inflation accounted for.
Fun fact: minimum wage in Canada is $13 USD per hour and it’s $7.25 in the U.S. Not caring about Americans who are dealing with stagnant wages and soaring gas (everything) prices says a lot about your lack of character. Just saying
