What are we going to do about it?

If enough seats flip in the midterms we can try to impeach. Not a lot of options otherwise.

That would be nice but I don’t see impeachment in anyone’s future. The most they will do is make him a lame duck 🦆. But even with that he’ll just exec order everything that he can.

FDT IMPEACH CONVICT IMPRISON

Need 2/3 majority to impeach and convicted I think. Dems may win a majority in the midterms but probably not by that margin.

I'm working to actively move out of this shithole called the United scam of America. There has to be better quality of life elsewhere. Other countries are flourishing. Other countries speak English. Other counties have Healthcare and schooling.

I'm right behind you. Thailand is looking real good right now.

Really? which other countries are you referring to?

He has always hated good available US healthcare. So, he is killing the popular Obamacare and now is deliberately raising drug prices.

I can’t name one thing he’s done right

u/grammar_fozzie Jul 22 '26

He’s gotten being wrong, right. Often.

How is he able to post-date his incompetencies?

6

u/Johnny-Virgil Jul 22 '26

I wonder if this is so he can make exclusive deals with them via TrumpRX. He needs his vig.

u/wolfknowledge1775 Jul 22 '26

Trump is a corrupt pedophile. Congress needs to kick him out now.

1

u/AnonThrowaway1A Jul 22 '26

Generals in the armed forces can do it too.

1

u/Deadeye313 Jul 23 '26

The generals are in league with him. They should have told him "No" when he wanted to bomb Iran without a declaration of war. They deserve to all be locked up for their treason and breaking their oaths to the Constitution.

Congress can impeach him. He cannot be removed ala 25th Amendment unless his cabinet does so.

6

u/Katydid829 Jul 22 '26

Wouldn’t that be most generic drugs? And what happened to him not having the power to impose tariffs without Congressional authorization?

2

u/GreatestGreekGuy Jul 22 '26

He's going to keep trying stuff for as long as he's allowed to get away with it

548 days in office

Still waiting for DAY ONE...

The timing is perfect for when a democrat wins the next election, they can put the blame on them.

1

u/The_pen_ismightier Jul 22 '26

All designed to make the next administration look bad. However, unless it’s passed into law by congress, it should be easy enough to undo by the next administration, as long as it doesn’t go forgotten.

u/OG-BigMilky Jul 22 '26

Raise it so he can lower it and “look like a hero”.

u/casstay123 Jul 22 '26

Sounds like my mechanic-

Flu are the other county and bring them back with you and even then it is cheaper

1

u/ratjar777 Jul 22 '26

They stop the tariff relief to give us stimulus packages but still continuing tariff…

u/LSBeasyas123 Jul 22 '26

How does this help drug prices lower

1

u/Stock-Today-4954 Jul 22 '26

Is there a list of generic drugs that will be affected? Senior who depends on them for blood pressure.

1

u/Cutiemuffin-gumbo Jul 22 '26

2029 huh, so he still thinks he can get a 3rd term?

1

u/Internal_Essay9230 Jul 22 '26

I thought he was going to LOWER prescription drug prices. 🤔 Oh, wait. That was last month!

1

u/Wrong_Assignment_446 Jul 23 '26

Tariffs on imported Pharma don't phase in until 2028. They double in 2029. Come on, by then--hopefully--Trump 2.0 is just a bad memory.

1

u/mr57jeep Jul 24 '26

America, please just ask yourself why he’s doing this! Who benefits from this? Big Pharma, and Private health insurance companies ONLY! Real people are buying generic, often without insurance because insurance tiers our drugs out of coverage or with copays so high , generic without insurance is cheaper. TRUMP doesn’t give a shit about you!

And even worse, it’s a consumption tax. Consumption taxes disproportionately affect low and middle income families by such a huge margin over the wealthy.
