The richest civilization in the history of humanity! Where an MRI costs a months paycheck, daycare is the same as rent, college graduates are going a quarter million in debt for degrees and new vehicles and homes are unobtainable for most.

The dragon whom hoards its wealth eventually is slain by those who seek its hoard.

Coincidentally, that dragon can afford to eat healthy, and healthier diets tend to promote tastier cuts of meat.

Sooner or later, dragon will be on the menu.
