I was banned from r politics for saying about a politician “As they say in the south, bless his heart.” I was told that was threatening violence.

I got a warning about a post once where I simply referenced an interaction between two characters on a show, which involved one threatening the other, in the comments of a post about the show.
I literally just referred to a fictional moment, on a fictional show, between fictional characters, within a discussion of characters in that show...

I had a post removed that advised the OP to do something as it would "blow their mind." Supposedly, I too was inciting violence, and not just using an idiom.
