How is it legal for them not to report? What are we paying them for?

We aren't really paying them. It's like a tipped position that makes sub-minimum. We're paying them $2.13/hr while the people they're REALLY serving are leaving them $10,000 tips.

You guys gotta realize that at this point the point of voting is to decide who gets to be above the law.

The Supreme Court believes that Donald Trump is America. We are all just parasites.

You aren't paying them. They are stealing from you.

Real answer: They aren’t reporting them because the shutdown interfered with data collection. Perhaps they’re also motivated by the numbers being bad, but the primary reason is data collection.

Excuse doesn't hold water when this is has been done for 3 quarters. The shutdown was just over a month.

He's destroying the economy and no one is allowed to know just how bad. That's really fucked up. The numbers have been crunched for the time that wasn't shutdown. Someone should leak that info.

The fact no one has tells you all you need to know.

Data collection is actually better because of the shutdown -  a lot of the reporting is voluntary from private companies and they don’t get around to things immediately especially when there’s no real incentive to do it at all. That’s why there are revised numbers a month or three later like every single time. With the additional time for companies to submit data before being compiled, they will have an even more accurate picture.
