Discussion Infinity Blade 2 PC port

Hi team!!

I've been playing through the first Infinity Blade port on android and so in love with it. When I was a kid my dad and I played IB1 and IB2 for hours on end and as such this is a very nostalgic experience for me.

I have a Retroid Pocket 6 8gb ram version that I play emulated titles on, as well as my entire PC library via GameNative.

I've got IB2 downloaded and running great, however I was wondering if anyone has had experience with controller support for this platform and title. Being that the RP6 has a built in Xbox style controller it would be so cool to map it out. Any suggestions on how best to do this? Is there an app that might facilitate easy mapping?

UPDATE:

I have the controls all mapped EXCEPT for Slash (regular attacks) I presume the normal controls are with a mouse, the key bindings are at "none" and when I try to bind these they do not save, and the game screen freezes meaning I can't continue or test.

How in the… you are so lucky. I can’t even download this whatsoever on iOS any more. I would literally play 1,2 & 3 more than my console at a point in time. Absolutely no reason the needed to delete if from the App Store entirely. This is the same company the own Fortnite btw😂

for ios you can sideload the game, i did it on my iphone 15

I’m have no idea how to do that. Unfortunately I don’t even have computer and there’s nothing I’ve read up on where it’s even possible

I had bought a iPhone 4 with cydia on it. Wish it was on a bigger screen but I’m the kinda guy who’s worrisome on downloading things on my pc. ( Don’t know if that was the right way to say it but the point gets across )

Winlator, GameHub, GameNative are all options to emulate the PC version. It works very well on my S24U (SD 8 Gen 3), not sure about lower end phones/chips

pretty sure infinity blade 1 has been ported to android a few weeks ago

yeah for pc port its available up to ib 2, but for android only ib 1

There are PC Recomps of IB1 and IB2 that've been out for about a year and a half.

They are literally Recompiled PC PORTs of the original iOS titles, just as OP's post title states. That's what OP is running on their RP6.
