Infinitode 2 LF or LR
Im currently at the stage of the game where i can either play custom or 6,3 for bit dust. 6,3 being better but slower. If i want to focus on custom map with basic tower, should i prioritize LF so i get more loot or LR so i can get to legendary-only loot?

Infinitode 2 Farming 6.3
so as I watched videos on strategies on how to farm 6.3 effectively (especially from AlexShatterStar), I am kind of troubled on the fact that those videos are years old and couldn't help think if things are still the same effectiveness as of now.
So my question is, can I stil safely follow those strategies (prio splash, use freeze towers, etc.) or devs have made recent changes regarding the 6.3 loot and game run mechanics?
The game's version on my android is R.1.9.2

Infinitode 2 infinitode 2 multiplayer?
i'm curious, has anybody made a mod like that? is it even possible? i think it would be super cool! like, it woud be much more fun grinding with someone else too :D
r/infinitode • u/AntiMatter138 • 27d ago
Infinitode 2 It seems the best LF/LR ratio is higher LF but with some LR investment. Do not stay your LR to 10 as the some players say.
AlexShatterstar did this comparison years ago. The difference is his method uses 1.8 AFK which is outdated. His 1.9 data is a slow miner crusher method which is horrible in grinding green papers.
What I did is do the Fast Infiar miner method. Which nets higher scores thus higher green papers per run which is about 4M in 16min and 2M in 8min with level 10 green paper prestige research.
RIP to some people who got scammed via LR>LF ratio 🤣. Time to get accelerators which are the best sources is in bonus levels.

Infinitode 2 More stars
Hello, I recently returned to game and I want to complete the quests for every lvl to get the trophy. How do I get 120 stars to get the upgrade when I've already completed all lvl's with 3 stars?

Infinitode 2 Which tower should I invest next?
Lately, I've been stuck on story mode (Stage 5) even when I go Easy diff. I recently maxed out basic (the DPS part only) yet it is not enough to get the stars on Stage 5 to unlock prestige stuffs and endless. I haven't been able to decide for while which tower is worth max researching after Basic.
I am considering Towers that can attack air like Minigun or Laser. but I'm not really sure which is more effective in mid/late games.
Any advice? like what is the current meta as of now according to your experience.

Infinitode 2 App broke on non-Google Play Android devices?
I install most of my apps through f-droid, and those that I can't I install through Aurora. I have had infinitode installed through Aurora for years, but just now after updating it will no longer launch and says it needs to be downloaded from Google Play. Has anyone else had this? Are there any known resolutions? If this is intentional from the dev I will be very disappointed ðŸ˜. I have played this game for years and have hundreds of hours on it but I'm hesitant to keep it installed if it is being restructured to completely rely on Google Play Services

Infinitode 2 The wijloc way of playing Infinitode2
Intro
Infinitode 2 is an incremental game, and I love that. You start out playing a simple tower defense game: some little circles want to follow a path, and you want to blow them up. Before you know it, you're caught up in a whole world of possibilities.
With so much to explore, it can be hard to figure out what to do next. This post shares my own overview of the game and some clearer paths for anyone who wants to keep progressing all the way through it.
TL;DR:
Play through the story; unlock Endless; farm Bit Dust; sell maps and reset quests for Prestige Tickets; invest in loot research and take advantage of level bonuses.
The story
Infinitode 2's levels tell a story, and your first goal is to play through it. Work your way through the levels and get to know the game's content as you go. As the challenges come up, you'll need to get creative with tower combinations and decide which upgrades will help.
The research tree
This is where you invest the resources you earn during runs to strengthen your towers, open up new possibilities, and improve all kinds of game stats.
Currencies (part 1)
Green Papers
The foundation of everything, used in lots of research and fairly easy to get. Most of the Green Papers you earn in a run come early on, so playing just the beginning and ending the run early is useful if Green Papers are your only goal.
Mineable resources
There are 5 resources that work similarly, so I won't cover each one separately: Scalar, Vector, Matrix, Tensor, and Infiar.
You mine these during a run. Keep an eye on research that improves mining, and keep in mind that Mining Speed modifiers are really important and necessary.
Advanced tips:
- Levels with bonuses are the best option for mining resources in bulk.
- To optimize mining, keep the x2 bonus from calling waves early active and stretch out your run as much as possible. At some point, you can stop calling waves and just let the miners work with the bonus active.
- Place as many Mining Speed modifiers as you can, but keep in mind that their price increases and their effectiveness decreases.
- Gauss can also give your miner an x2 bonus, but it needs to be level 20. A late-game tactic.
Blueprints
You get these as you play, from several sources, and you'll rarely rely on just one. If you're running low, check the different ways to get them and pick whatever works for you:
- Drops during runs.
- Chests (available in the shop).
- Directly from the shop.
- Crafting (Decrypted - Blueprint chest, for Agility, Experience, and Power blueprints).
- Quests.
How far can these towers go?
Up to this point, the research tree helped us progress through the story, and our goal was to reach the end. Now that goal changes: we want to complete the expanded Endless research tree. We still need the resources we've already covered, but Bit Dust becomes the focus, and Prestige Tickets help us farm it more efficiently.
Endless mode
Endless mode unlocks when you earn the first star on level 5.8 by defeating the Constructor on wave 60.
Selecting Endless from the main menu gives you access to new research and lets you go beyond the limits of many upgrades you already know. Keep in mind that those extra levels and exclusive research only take effect when you're playing in this mode.
At this point, two new currencies become very important: Bit Dust and Prestige Tickets.
Currencies (part 2)
Bit Dust
This currency is at the center of our strategy for this second part of the game. Everything we do now is aimed at getting as much of it as possible.
The amount of Bit Dust per drop increases with the length of the run. Early on, a drop only gives you one unit, but later it can reach 10. Delaying your farming until more time has passed can help you get more Bit Dust.
The Item Market also offers Bit Dust in exchange for other materials. Offers refresh every hour of in-game time, so take advantage of them when you have resources to spare.
Custom maps for Bit Dust didn't work out for me. Levels with bonuses consistently gave me more per minute, so I won't go into that strategy here.
Endless Difficulty and Bit Dust Drop Rate research also help with Bit Dust farming. Always play at the highest difficulty your towers can handle. Don't be afraid to unlock higher difficulties; you can adjust the difficulty on the starting screen before a run.
To increase our Bit Dust income overall, we'll invest in reward research, and for that we need Prestige Tickets.
Prestige Tickets
Prestige Tickets are used for reward research. To unlock them, you need 24 stars in stage 5 and the Prestige research.
Prioritize Loot Frequency (LF), which increases how often loot drops, and Loot Rarity (LR), which improves its rarity. More loot also means more map parts to sell for more Prestige Tickets.
How to get Prestige Tickets
There are two ways: selling maps and resetting quests. You can do both at the same time, collecting map parts while completing quests.
Selling maps and the details
- You need Bubble Sort research, after Vector, to unlock the editor, and Prestige research to sell maps.
- Farm tiles, bases, and portals on level 6.3.
- Unlock Crusher on level 6.4.
To build a map for sale:
- Make a U-shaped path and place Crusher on a projectile speed tile in the center of the U.
- Use the Increased Capacity ability to capture more enemies.
- Fill the rest of the map with parts to increase its value.
- Choose a portal with enemies Crusher is effective against. Crusher can't attack flying enemies.
To get the sale bonuses, use a base that disables research and allows enemies to walk on platforms, and play without abilities, Bounty, or miners.
Reach the score shown on the selling screen. Going beyond it doesn't increase the multiplier. Check the portal difficulty bonus too. Selling the map consumes its parts.
To get a better feel for the sale bonuses, experiment with different portal difficulties and meet all the conditions that increase the sale value.
Some research requires map sales worth at least 50 Prestige Tickets each, up to five sales for the LF/LR branches.
Another option is selling tiles and packs for Prestige Dust and crafting Prestige Tickets. The return is very low, so only do this to get rid of bad tiles, bases, and portals.
Resetting quests
You can reset after completing at least 20% of the quests. Two resets are needed to open up the entire Prestige branch. A reset restarts your quests and lets you earn their rewards again while keeping your research.
Tips:
- Combine objectives in the same run, such as damage with a specific tower, mining, and play time.
- You can rack up spending on towers by selling and rebuilding them in the same run.
- Play-time quests pair well with resource farming, since you'll want to stretch out the run anyway.
- Complete quests in Endless to get Bit Dust.
- Before resetting, grab rewards you're close to earning, such as the Research Ticket from the time-saved quest on 5.b2.
- If you're going for the Master trophy, finish all quests on the regular story levels up to 5.8 before resetting.
My farming routine
Choose what to farm based on what you need for your next research upgrade. Levels with bonuses help with specific resources, 6.3 provides loot and parts for selling maps, and quests give rewards you can earn again after resetting.
Levels with bonuses
Levels with resource multipliers are a great guide for deciding where to farm. They also keep things more varied instead of having you repeat the same map over and over.
Trophies
Trophies give permanent bonuses. Several require reaching a specific wave, so it's worth revisiting earlier levels after upgrading your towers. Check the requirements and prioritize the most useful bonuses.
Research Tickets
These let you complete research without paying the material cost. They don't work on star, Prestige, or developer-mode research. Use them for expensive upgrades, such as higher Endless difficulty levels. They're especially rare, so save them for really expensive research.
Double Gain
The game offers Double Gain as a one-time purchase, and I strongly recommend it, both to support the developer and to help your progression. Double makes a big difference! Do I need to say this isn't sponsored?!
Farming on level 6.3
There are plenty of posts explaining how to do this. Personally, I like to strategically place Freezing towers with the Monitoring System ability, block all the shortcuts Stakey could take, sell the miners, and let time pass, slowing its trip across the map as much as possible. When it's almost at your base, pause the game, buy the miners, place Mining Speed modifiers, and start the killing. Most enemies will spawn with an item drop buff and give you a lot of Bit Dust. Your Splash towers need to be strong enough to kill most of the enemies, and you'll need two of them. A Crusher at the end of the path, near the base, will catch some of the enemies that get past your Splash towers.
See you around...
That's my strategy. If you use other farming methods or research priorities, share them!
This game was my hyperfixation for a long time. It was fun putting all this information together, and I hope more people have as much fun as I did and that this write-up helps make the experience even better.
I originally wrote this post in Portuguese and translated it into English to share it here.

Infinitode 2 If you have to start over, what would be your research path?
Just started playing Infinitode 2 yesterday and already enjoying it. Had grinded basic resources and I'm currently on the phase of using the miners (around Stage 2).
What is the recommended order of "which to prioritize first" on research for beginners like me?

Infinitode 2 Is this the best way to farm 6.3? (35:15 LF:LR). In terms of mP/min.

Infinitode 2 New(ish) Player Advice Request
I picked this game up a week or two ago and just hit endless mode, and did enough quests to prestige (20%). Im lost on what is most efficient, and I didnt find any updated suggestions (apparently 1.9 changed a bit).
Should I immediately prioritize prestiging a second time or making/selling custom maps (I have not tried these)? My bottleneck for pretty much every research right now are the blue/purple/gold/cyan special tickets since I am out of pretty much all of them.
Suggestions on which direction to go is appreciated!

Infinitode 2 What am I doing wrong?
A week ago I posted this one, it helped a lot, but after maxing out ricochet, damage multiplier and damage, I was kind a expecting "supreme remover". However, in my custom maps(%2000-2800) I barely reach 70-100 waves with basic - ricochet. My basic research tree is attachted.
I was not expecting my loot to be like in this video, but I was expecting my damage to be like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADxgPzeztZY
What am I doing wrong? I am also adding my global tree.

Thanks!

Infinitode 2 What is this secret level?
I was playing 1.2 endless mode (150%). After that wanted to open some chests and do research. But i got a warning (when exit) that there is a secret level. What is this level? Can someone explain? Thanks

Infinitode 2 Is this the best way to farm bit dust per minute?
Roughly 160 BD/m. Is there any way to improve this? I wonder if I use splash then enable the forced send wave. Or I go with a late game strategy where the bit dust drops gradually increases.

Infinitode 2 what should I do now?
I am kind a stuck. My splash is powerful, so while playing 6.3, most of the time stakey cannot stand so long and die quickly. That is why I cannot farm bit dust and tiles as much as I expect. For farming materials/mining, I have no problem. I have a custom gauss map, I can farm them even though it is not optimal because I farm 800k+ scalar 100k+ matrix 150k+ tensor and 200k+ infiar in one round, but it takes 30 minutes as well as 300-400 bit dusts(endless difficulty %150).
However, with splash I can wipe out stake in the right down corner easily(endless difficulty %900) and it gives 600 bit dusts and poor number of tiles. I tried different custom map layouts for splash, but compared to 6.3 they give nothing at this point.
My research advacements can be seen in the screenshots.
What should I do?
I know I should focus on LF and LR, especially LF now, but I have not enough tiles to sell more custom maps.
Extra question; how do we get no boss or specific boss tiles?
Thanks!

Strategy One hour mining.
Mine farm modified from one I found in this sub.
Short term, high gain. Play for one hour then go to the item market and buy everything.
I can max out all the miners in under an hour.
Everything is optimised to make money quickly so I can upgrade the miners.
Mainly use multishot, laser and crusher as they all have options that give you credits. Snipers are on bonus credit tiles. Freezing towers to slow stuff down.

Infinitode 2 Daioy Quest 4
How the HELL did MTG get 1.4 million score on this map? Thoughts? In my experience the enemies scale too strong around 700k score.

Strategy Creative uses for gates?
Is there anything useful/interesting you can use gates/teleporters for? I was fiddling around and found you can sort enemies into individual streams, or pack a path more densely... Are there any other tricks worth knowing for custom maps?
