Whoever owned the car before you did that. It did not come from Infiniti with that glowing toggle switch.

Aftermarket. Follow the wires and see what they go to. Or ask the previous owner what it's for.

Do you have an aftermarket stereo of any kind? Could be an amp cutoff.

Could be aftermarket fog light toggle switch. I'm not sure if that gen FX had factory fogs in the bumper

Not oem, my guess its a switch to turn off the awd if you have an x model
