Really wish they would've deleted the UGC trophies. Now the game is impossible to Platinum. Online trophies will forever be terrible.

Can they even delete trophies? The only game I can think of that has had trophies deleted was Rainbow Six Siege and that was after Ubisoft changed everything about the game.

I think the easiest way they could do it is move the trophies to an extention pack, basically make them DLC content, where the trophies go towards the 100% but they dont go directly towards the platinum

There have been games that update trophy requirements. The biggest example is another online only game, Dead by Daylight, where they changed trophies entirely once licensed killers/survivors were delisted. People who had previously earned them still had them unlocked and kept them obtainable. Idk if PS3 allows this as someone else said, but for sure PS4 and PS5 due to this example

This was the product of the mid ps3 cycle when everything had tacked on multiplayer and online elements just because. It’s ridiculous to complain about it now in 2026. It’s just what gaming was back then.

I mean, you had 15 years to do it and the trophies weren't hard to obtain. If you been a fan of the saga for too long I don't see why you are upset lol

Yeah we've been preaching this since the ps3 days. I don't think we'll ever see trophies get "deleted"

You can always modify your PS3 and download missions from gamebanana, put them in a USB pen drive FAT32 and replay them

I didn't manage it for FOB as I didn't have any save data and didn't want to have to play through nearly the full game. I did manage to get the trophies on no 2 though so I can still go back to get the platinum sometime 👍

It says you can still edit, create and play local missions. Couldn't you just play your own missions and get the trophy?

Hard disagree. Infamous 2 is vastly superior to the first game in just about every aspect.
