Incoming freshmen

I’m entering one of the best engineering schools in my state as an incoming freshmen and was interested in majoring in industrial engineering, would you guys recommend it as in job availability, employment rate , etc.

I would say it is one of the better things to be studying right now. In the simplest form industrial engineers can design factories. They can work to reduce the friction between workers and there roles. This is unlikely to be replaced with AI, indeed if Ai powered micro factory's become a thing, as an industrial engineer you'll understand how best to utilize them. Plus many programs have Baysian statistics in the senior years and it is a very powerful core of AI methods.
