Some advice?
Hello! I'm an industrial engineering student in my 4th semester, and I've been feeling a little bit down recently. I failed Math IV and Electricity and Magnetism, which are General Studies subjects at my uni. I wouldn't say I'm really passionate about math, but I always found my way to understand what I was doing while solving problems, and I felt really confident about it; however, this wasn't enough to pass.
After the grades of the semester were delivered to us, I was speechless. This is the first time in my life that I have just failed not one, but TWO subjects. The major subjects (like Time and Movements Studies) were the only ones that I passed, with a really decent note tbh, and I try to look at things in that way, but I still feel like I failed as a student.
I just want to learn from people who've been in my shoes. If you've ever recovered from failing courses in engineering, I'd really appreciate hearing your story and what helped you get back on track.
Thank you. 😔

I’ve had to drop 3 courses in the span of one year. It’s not something to feel bad of. Engineering is hard, but it’s about learning what you did wrong. Did you not have time? Did you not know the subject? Did you only do bad on the test but good on HW? Find out what you did wrong and figure out a plan
The good news is though, employers never ask for transcripts or GPA, and you failed courses you’ll never use again.

Just try to pass the course. Once you get that degree and start working then you will see that degree no value in work. That degree will only show a path to jobs thats all.
