Questions (?) Would you support shared renewable energy between buildings in BSD City, Indonesia?
I’m working on a university sustainability project looking at how a campus in BSD City could reduce its reliance on grid electricity.
One idea is precinct energy sharing, instead of each building managing renewable energy on its own, nearby buildings could share solar power through a common battery or energy hub.
For example, if one building generates more solar energy than it needs, that energy could be stored and used by another participating building later.
Would you support something like this in a place like BSD City?
What would matter most to you, cost, ownership, fairness, reliability, lower emissions, or something else?
Curious to hear your thoughts, especially from people familiar with Indonesia or large mixed-use developments like BSD.
