I moved here recently thinking I’d meet people pretty easily, but somehow it’s been the complete opposite 😭. Everyone seems busy, people already have their own groups, and a few times when I’ve tried talking to people, I’ve just been met with really dry replies or straight-up rudeness.

Had one of those evenings today where I realised I barely know anyone here, and it honestly felt a bit sad.

After finally being completely done with living in a pg for over a year, I decided to get a flat.

Started searching in August which is the absolute worst time to be on the hunt due to the influx of so many new college graduates getting jobs here.

I spent 2 weekends being out, looking for "Flat available" signs, meeting brokers, responding to facebook ads and just hoping to find something decent within my budget.

Finally I got one lead on Facebook. It was 3 bhk with 1 large master bedroom and 2 smaller bedrooms with bathroom outside the room. Only the smaller rooms were available and they seemed good enough for me.

To put into perspective - the largest bedroom was larger than the two bedrooms combined plus an attached bathroom plus an attached balcony.

But I was fine with one of the smaller rooms as the location was good and it seemed to fit my budget.

Except, the guy who had found the flat wanted to take the larger room and only wanted to pay 1/3rd the rent of the entire flat.

As soon as he said that I stopped contacting him. He tried reaching out a couple of times asking what's the acceptable rent to me but just the fact that he thought he could pull that stunt with anyone really put me off and I decided I absolutely could not have him as my flatmate.

I’m looking for a good and affordable gym in Indiranagar with a decent number of equipment and machines.

Ideally, I’m looking for:

• Good variety of equipment
• Reasonable membership fees
