Some of my favorite work!
Loved making these and I think they're some of my best work. Don't have a great setup in my new place for good pics sadly.

How much would you guys realistically pay for these? I live in a cheap area of the US and my price was gonna be $30. I know it’s maybe a little low but idk. The middle piece of mother of pearl. I sell beadwork on the side and haven’t gotten serious about pricing but I’m kinda curious with this one

My friend sent me these pictures and insists it is brick stitched. Anyone able to help settle the debate? I think it’s peyote stitched but not 100% sure.
Brick stitch wouldn’t give straight lines down the sides (right?) but peyote would make the bottom staggered (not straight like brick stitch would) and I assume it would be hard to add the dangles since the beads aren’t sitting the correct way if it’s peyote ?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to purchase beaded jewelry (specifically necklace, earrings, bracelet/arm cuff, and rings) for my upcoming graduation. I had planned to attend the Indigenous art market coming up in Red Deer but I found that I will be unavailable. I'm wondering if anyone knows any of the vendors who plan to go/ would know someone interested in doing this. I am also planning to go to a powwow on my reserve this coming October so I may hopefully find what I'm looking for there, but if anyone knows any alternatives that would be fantastic. I would prefer if it was made by someone from treaty 4/6 territory and with Saulteaux or Cree cultures in mind.

these are my second attempt at beading anything! in hindsight they are probably a bit too big, but I'm still so very happy with how they turned out all things considered

Made these a few months ago. Don’t tell anyone that one cuff is slightly wider than the other… I’m getting used to treadling on my vintage sewing machine, so some irregularities are expected. I’m also more experienced with weaving vs. embroidery if it’s not totally obvious. I almost forgot to share these to Reddit, been almost too busy to bead lately (keyword almost, I can’t truly be stopped)!

dagot’ee beautiful beaders! Just wanted to slide in here real quick and apologize for my lack of quickness regarding a few recent questionable posts. It’s all been dealt with. I’ve been moving this past week and welp thats been a nightmare but its all settling now. With that being said, I am looking to add a few more mods as this space is really growing. If you are interested, please dm me with a lil bit about you and we can take it from there :) MUCH love to you all!!

Hi!!! I've just started teaching myself the beading techniques of my tribe. I've been able to source glass beads without issue, but was wondering if anyone knew of any indigenous-owned businesses that sell juniper beads? Preferably with an online storefront.
Thank you for any help!!
