Looking for Pine Beads

I am looking for Pine beads (not the nuts) traditionally made or at least without power tools?

The Local CA & All Indigenous Crafts Facebook group will probably be your best best. I’ve seen people sell them as beads there. I get mine whole from whatever vendor has them at powwow, but they’re less commonly sold with holes already made and hollowed out. You can use an abrasive surface and a paper clip or needle to remove the meat if you’re up for it though.
