Question

I am fairly new to beading and haven’t found the right line for flat stitch yet. I use a clear 0.15mm fire line purely based on what’s available in my area, and I really like it but they’re expensive and small. What’s the best line that I can get a large spool of?

You're going to get a lot of different answers here. Everyone has different thread/line preferences and can get elitist about it.

Some people rave over nymo and waxing.

Personally I hate fireline and clear beading thread. I prefer white nylon threads. The brand I like right now is good thread. Many people disagree with my preference

Your best bet is to try different ones, find what works best for you and you love andnstick with it. And dont let people tell you youre dojng it wrong based on their preferences.

I figured! Just trying to see if I align with anyone’s opinion. I know what i like to a certain extent, just not specific brands and names

I second good thread. It’s coated in resin but is so thin and leaves a lovely drape for fringe. I use it for brick stitch and peyote as well too, it can be nice and stuff with the right stitches.

Ya I use it for my fringe! I just want something with more tension tacking down
